Attorney Colleen Pratt


Colleen M. Pratt was born and raised in Southern California and is an alumnus of Western State University College of Law where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. While at Western she was proud to be a member of the Women’s Law Association, received nine American Jurisprudence awards, and was an editor of Law Review.

Over the past 17 years, her focus of practice has been civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury and workers’ compensation. Ms. Pratt is known for her sensitivity, optimism, dedication to her clients, high rate of client satisfaction and excellent case results. She has an unshakable passion for demanding the best results for her clients.

Ms. Pratt has handled thousands of cases and her accomplishments in California run from the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and California Superior Court to the California Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of California. She has also successfully litigated cases outside of California before the United States District Court, 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, Wyoming Supreme Court, and North Dakota Supreme Court. When not practicing law, Ms. Pratt enjoys snowboarding, motorcycle riding, reading, and playing with her dogs.

Attorney Michael Ainbinder


Michael D. Ainbinder is an alumnus of Southwestern University School of Law and has been assisting injured workers and consumers for nearly 45 years. During this period he has handled over 10,000 cases and has successfully argued before all tribunals including the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, Municipal and Superior Courts, California Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Wyoming. Mr. Ainbinder has practiced personal injury and workers’ compensation law since he opened his office in 1973. Throughout the following four decades, he has earned a reputation for being approachable to his clients, a fierce advocate to his opponents and aggressive in obtaining the most compensation for his clients. He has tried hundreds of cases and settled tens of millions of dollars for his clients. His unwavering advocacy has gained him membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This forum is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States and less than 1% of all U.S. lawyers are members. Mr. Ainbinder has also contributed to the education of future and practicing lawyers. He was a professor of Torts for a law school and has tutored a multitude of lawyers throughout his years of practice. In fact, many of his protégées have gone on to become partners of their own firms as well as Judges. He himself has served as Judge Pro Tem of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, Municipal Court Judge Pro Tem, and Superior Court Arbitrator and Mediator. When not practicing law, Mr. Ainbinder enjoys motorcycle riding, playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
Attorney Joshua Harrer


Joshua J. Harrer is an alumnus of Whittier Law School. He graduated Cum Laude and earned four American Jurisprudence Awards. As a law student, Mr. Harrer possessed an unwavering passion for assisting those in needs. His early advocacy included making appearances at hearings and assisting in the representation of pro bono clients in matters of Immigration, Conservatorship, and Adoption. In recent years, his focus of practice has been Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury. Mr. Harrer has handled thousands of cases and has successfully litigated cases before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, California Superior Court, and California Labor Board. Mr. Harrer insists on achieving excellent results for each of his clients and also prides himself on maintaining open lines of communication with his clients during the pendency of their case. When not practicing law, Mr. Harrer enjoys motorsports and playing golf. Recently, he has volunteered his services as a mentor to law students at Whittier Law School.
Attorney Danny Szabatura


Danny Szabatura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. Szabatura went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law. As a law student, Mr. Szabatura worked for various public interest agencies and civil litigation firms. After being admitted to the California Bar, Mr. Szabatura joined Ainbinder & Pratt. He is a proud member of the Long Beach Bar Association, as he was born and raised in Long Beach, California. In any situation, Danny Szabatura is fully equipped to do battle. When Mr. Szabatura takes on a case, his clients reap the benefits of his impeccable work ethic, legal knowledge, and intense personal investment. When not practicing law, Mr. Szabatura enjoys dining out with family and playing sports with friends. He also helps coach youth basketball at his former elementary school.
